Top Doodlers

What is the best way to reward your students for all of their hard work on DoodleMath?

Updated over a week ago

We recommend rewarding students for demonstrating effort, determination and resilience.

Rewarding pupils for their hard work, rather than long streaks or the number of stars they've earned, is a great way to encourage healthy usage habits. It also helps to motivate children to Doodle 'little and often' and is a better indicator of attainment.

Rewarding pupils for achieving their weekly target

We recommend rewarding students for meeting their target (by earning enough stars to be in the green zone) once a week. Doing this is a great way to recognise their hard work and keep them motivated!

To view which students are on target:

  1. Log in to the Educators Dashboard

  2. Go to Work programs > View effort

  3. Select your class; you'll then be able to see which students are in their green zone

Why not reward those who are in the green zone with a Doodle certificate or sticker.

Celebrating your Top Doodling class

You could also celebrate the class with the highest percentage of pupils in their green zone each week.

To view your school's Top Doodling class:

  1. Log in to the Educators Dashboard

  2. On the homepage you'll see the Top Doodlers Leaderboard. From here, you'll be able to see the class with the highest percentage of students on target (in their green zone)

Why not reward this class in your weekly celebration assembly with a Top Doodlers trophy or 10 minutes of extra play time!
